We’re looking for a creative leader to shape S1T2’s future in interactive storytelling.
S1T2 is seeking an Art Director to guide the visual direction of our real-time experiential projects from museum exhibitions to location based entertainment environments and built environment projects. You’ll interpret narrative and conceptual ideas into visual directions and lead a multidisciplinary team of artists and designers to bring them to life.

What you can shape here:
- Set the visual tone for interactive experiences across museum, cultural, and commercial sectors
- Translate story and concept into compelling look dev, styleframes, and moodboards
- Direct internal teams and contractors across art, motion, and 3D design
- Mentor and critique creative talent to improve visual output and creative clarity
- Collaborate with creative directors, producers and technical leads to deliver beautiful, buildable experiences
- Join client meetings and presentations to understand their vision first-hand
- Input into creative direction
What you’ll add to the team:
- A strong eye for narrative-driven visual design and spatial storytelling
- Experience leading design on projects built in Unreal Engine or similar real-time platforms
- Ability to roll up your sleeves when needed to produce visuals or direction-setting artwork
- Confidence in giving and receiving feedback, and mentoring artists at various levels
- Experience across concept art, motion, or 3D design (Blender, Adobe CS) is a bonus
- A love for interactive storytelling, world-building, and cross-disciplinary collaboration
This is a full-time role based in Sydney or Melbourne (with flexible hybrid options). You’ll be joining a passionate team dedicated to creating experiences that are as meaningful as they are spectacular.
