We’re looking for a JR to mid lvl motion designer wanting to develop their eye and skillset and keen to do it across interactive mediums.
The role begins as a three month contract, but our ideal candidate is someone who will grow and develop alongside the team long term. We’re looking for an adaptable design mentality with a flexible approach, selecting design methods and styles based on the brief, client needs, and the medium rather than a single fixed specialty. You’ll need to be able to clearly explain creative decisions and support them through research and exploration All-rounder mindset with interest in understanding and contributing across the full end-to-end production pipeline.
Your areas of focus would be ;
Animation & Motion
Some experience delivering animation projects from concept to final output, including mock-ups, storyboards, asset preparation, animation, editing, and delivery A strong eye for motion, timing, and pacing, with the ability to identify the desired feel and outcome of the final product is great. Proficient in After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop with an efficient motion design pipeline and willing to learn new tool sets.
Design & UX
Experience designing from wireframes through to visual mock-ups, motion application, asset export, and user testing Broad interest in user experience design across multiple formats, including games, museums, projection, mobile, and interactive installations Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and workflows to support cross-disciplinary teams (e.g. preparing assets for Unreal Engine, WebGL, or TouchDesigner environments)
